ANNUAL AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY PARTY

Please join us in celebrating American Independence Day on Sunday July 1 with a picnic in the heart of London!
 
The American organisation, Democrats Abroad U.K., has organised their fourth annual Independence Day party in Portman Square Garden with all-day live entertainment, a broad selection of American food and drinks and supervised games and crafts for children.  Last year over 1,000 people attended and even higher numbers are anticipated this year.

Event Details

Date: Sunday July 1, 2012
Time: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: Portman Square Garden, W1H 2BH
Entrance: South gate on the south side of Portman Square between Gloucester Place and Baker Street
 
Admission prices:
Adults: £10 discounted ticket until June 24th (£12.50 thereafter).
Concession: £5
Children age 6-16: £3.50 (younger than 6 are free)

Special notes about tickets:
While non-US citizen guests are very welcome to attend and join our celebration, due to US campaign finance laws tickets to this event may be purchased ONLY by US citizens. Tickets are non-refundable, and may be transferred only with the consent of the organizer.
 
Important information about Portman Square Gardens:
Attendees are asked to bring their own blankets or picnic chairs. No kites or fireworks are allowed. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as food will be available for purchase on site from licensed vendors. No pets or other animals are allowed entry.
