CAS

How long did it take you to receive your CAS after accepting your offer? I'm planning on applying for my visa around late July. Did you contact the school to receive it, or is it just a waiting process? FYI, I accepted my offer about three weeks ago. And I've just been approved for my Sallie Mae loan as well and I'll accept it this week.

Hey,

I was reading some of your other posts and I saw that you're going to University of Sheffield right?!

haha it's okay! I was just asking because I'm going there as well. I'll be going for MA in Archaeology :)

Oh and have you received anything from them about your loan? I applied for Federal Loans which I think got approved I just haven't heard anything back from them. Have you?

Oh, that's really neat! I'm going for the Postgraduate Diploma in Speech Difficulties, bachelor's was in speech pathology and audiology here in OH.

My financial aid is through Sallie Mae and that was finalized a couple weeks ago. I'm still waiting to receive my CAS number but other than that, I have a lot of my documents prepared for the student visa. I received an e-mail from my loan company when the loan was approved through Sheffield. I'd just give Federal Loans a call and see where they're at in the approval process. And hopefully customer service at Federal Loans is better than at Sallie Mae !
