I have jsut applied for my ILR. My husband and I were trying to do the same day service but they were fully booked a month and a half in advance at the 4 different locations we could go to!! I couldnt believe it! We decided to use the checking service because we heard that when it shows it comes from their office, the process is usually faster and we get to keep all our original documents and my passport. When we were speaking with the woman at the checking service, she told us that she had been told recently that I could travel while my ILR was being processed but then she told me I should double check just to make sure she had received the correct information. Does anyone know anything about them recently changing this???
