Do i need a visitor visa or different visa or nothing?

Continuing from my previous thread for those that may not know the background.

I stayed in UK for about 3 months after my visitor visa for marriage was approved. My fiance and i got married and i've been back in the US after 3 months stay. I'm planning to visit her sometime later this year for maybe 2-4 weeks before returning back to the US for my job.

As previously stated in my other thread i did have a refusal before which may stop my entry into UK. Though i will be bringing evidence of my return back to US with me in case they question my visit.

So should i obtain a visa or would i not have a problem if i showed the same evidence as i showed them when i applied for visitor visa for marriage?

If you have been refused a visa in the past, it is recommended that you should always apply for a visa before you travel, because the chances of you being refused entry without a visa are higher now.

As you are now married and are thinking of coming to the UK as a visitor, they will likely look more closely at your situation to make sure that you are a genuine visitor and won't try to stay in the UK illegally to be with your spouse (i.e. having a UK spouse would give you more incentive to try to stay in the UK than if you were just a regular tourist coming to see the sights).

It may well be worth applying for a 'family visitor visa' instead of a regular visitor visa as you now have a family member living in the UK: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/visiting/family/requirements/

If you still aren't planning to move to the UK, then you can make this clear when you apply for the visa and show that you have a job, home and a life in the US that you must return to.

It's hard to say.  The fact that you were refused entry means it's best to apply for a visa in advance.  But the fact that you entered subsequently on the marriage visit visa and adhered to its conditions is a good sign.  The safest thing would be to apply for a visitor's visa in advance.

What if i'm able to show them USCIS paperwork being filed to show them my wife is going to US instead of them thinking any chance i'm moving to UK?

I don't think anyone can tell you if that is going to be good enough to get you in to the UK without prior entry clearance.  It's up to the individual immigration officer.
