6 NFL UK tickets for sale (ended up with too many!!)
« on: October 08, 2011, 10:21:41 AM »
So I had some friends planning to come out to the UK from the States for a visit which would have revolved around going to the game on Oct 23, but that plan folded so now my wife and I are in possession of 6 extra tickets for this game.

We'd ideally like to unload these rather quickly. The tickets came to a cost of £77.60 per ticket after face value and ticketmaster service charges, but after ebay and gumtree fees (tried to unload them to both sites with no luck), I'd at least like to break even. So I'm happy to unload these for £85 a piece. Ideally in pairs so it doesn't leave me with an odd ticket available. This is what I've got..

4 x - BLOCK 131, ROW 13
view seat here:
2 x - BLOCK 130, ROW 39

They're actually quite good seats, bottom level close to the pitch at an angle behind the field goal posts.

Drop me a private message on here if interested. As said, I want to unload these rather quickly so I'm happy to meet up and do a cash sale in person. Anytime this weekend or up to 9:30pm during the week.

Cheers

I'm confused - why are you charging more than what you paid for them? We are going to be in London that day and we're from Chicago so I'm interested but don't get the price!

I thought I explained it in the first post. It is because I tried selling these on ebay and on gumtree (featured item which cost me a £10 charge) and they didn't sell. I'm simply selling them for the price of £85 (instead of the £77.40 I paid) to break even on all costs I put into the tickets. You're not going to get seats as good as these for this price. Scalpers will be selling them for a profit outside Wembley and most people are selling them for over £225 for a pair on sites like viagogo and seatwave. Just being honest here. I'm not looking to make a profit on these but I also don't want to make a loss either.

Right...but it's not the buyer's fault that you weren't able to sell them on eBay or gumtree. I mean, you can ask any price you want, but that just seems a little off to me.

Fair enough. I see your point. Definitely not the buyer's fault. And you're right, I can ask any price I want. And I am, a price just slightly higher than what you would have paid on ticketmaster (£7 and some change). You'd think I was pulling tricks or something! Just being completely honest here. Go to any site like Stubhub in America and you'll find ticket prices there to be a little off as well I'm sure. The tickets are available if you would like them. I would be very happy to have a fellow Chicagoan have these tickets  :)

No, you're being honest about it which is fair enough. I hate scalpers and really wasn't planning on going to the game, but when you said it was the Bears, of course I was interested!

So tempting!  But I can't go to a Bears game, unless it's to see them annihilated by the Packers. :p

The Bears v Bucs game was last year.  This year's game is the Rams v Patriots.
