An American Bank has their own rules
« on: August 18, 2012, 03:24:13 AM »
I know we should be talking about life in the UK so bare with me.

I'm frustrated because I closed my US Bank account last Friday but they without my knowledge resurrected it and processed a automatic debit that they shouldn't have. I now have an overdraft for the $35 fee.

On top of that. I made a 5 mile trip to the bank and waited in line for the drive up window and when a car left I pulled up and I was told by the teller they were closed. I looked at the clock and it was one minute after. I was there before they closed but there was a line. I then went to another branch and closed my account, or so I thought.

I know some people on here are in banking so they may comment. Also I know some of you have frustrations with banks in the UK so I wanted to share some from the US.
