The Circle of Life?
« on: November 09, 2012, 11:05:28 AM »
My kids did this today. It's an entire bottle of table salt.

When I saw it I tried very hard not to laugh, even though I was annoyed at the mess. This is because my mom often talks about the time she found I had poured an entire bag of sugar on the floor, and then I peed in the middle of it.

I was relieved my kids didn't pee in it (which could have been possible as we're on day 2 of potty training Abby).

What goes around comes around, eh!

DH was once 'helping' his mum with changing his brother's nappy (they are only 2 years apart) & ended up dumping a container of baby powder all over his brother & everything else!  :)

I bet you're glad it's only salt and not something like ketchup or Hershey's syrup.  ;D

I need to make sure my husband doesn't see this or he may not want to have children! He's never been around younger kids, so doesn't understand the messes!

At least salt is relatively cheap and no one was hurt, that's the main thing!  :)

The mess is annoying. Especially as I can still feel some salt on the floor no matter how many times I hoover it up. But I'm chalking all this down as a good story to tell the kids when they're older.

Stick the story and the photos in the book of "to show anyone they date to embarrass them" like my Mom did. *hides*

Better salt than sugar. I dropped sugar once and no matter how well I cleaned it up, I could always feel the sticky! Of course the addition of pee would have taken it to a whole new level.
