Bit the bullet-Weight Watchers
« on: October 26, 2018, 12:59:29 PM »
I threw in the towel. I waived the white flag. I gave in. I rejoined Weight Watchers last night.

I've been on it a few times throughout the years after very successfully losing over 100lbs by myself (I WISH i could get that motivation back, ha!)

At my heaviest, I weighed 245lbs and thinnest was 140lbs (about 2 years ago). Stress has been a huge factor in my current gain of almost 20lbs. I hate that my clothes don't fit. I feel like a bloated whale most days. I'm breaking out. I'm exhausted.

So, back on program. That along with walking and elliptical I hope to be myself again soon.

Good for you!! I think you're awesome. The fact that you are very self-aware will help you get back to a place where you feel comfortable and good again. I'm sure you'll be back to your desired weight in no time. And Weight Watchers is an excellent program. I think it's one of the most doable ones there is. You got this!  :D

Thanks ladies! It's the exercise part I struggle with the most right now. That'll be the biggest challenge  ;D

What activities do you like to do? Maybe try something new and fun! Zumba? Yoga? Tennis? Ice skating maybe??  ;)

I find that I stick to workouts if I'm doing something I actually enjoy and that doesn't feel like a traditional workout. I LOATHE going to the gym. I sweat like crazy when I play tennis or do Zumba. And the nice thing about those activities is that you can do them at your own level or pace and work up to a higher intensity with time.  :)

I like walking and the elliptical but only if I have something good to watch  :D I've done step aerobics before and loved it but they don't make it anymore. Zumba and I didn't get a long lol.

Elliptical is a great time to catch up on shows! Killing two birds with one stone. Great idea!
