Yellow or White?

lolabola, I love your ring!!!! Hmmmm...so far, all of you have white metals. I've always had gold. I don't know if I like it better or not, and now in my later years I am wearing a lot more black, which I think goes better with white gold, silver, platinum etc. I have dark, golden blonde hair and dark brown eyes and warm skintone...so I've always worn gold. But, guess that doesn't mean I have to!

We got matching bands... yellow gold but with a stripe of white gold down the center. When I wear gold rings with it, it looks more gold. But with my silver rings, that middle band really stands out nicely.

We skipped the engagement ring.

My engagement ring is an antique, probably from 1920, the jeweller said.  It is 18k gold set in platinum, and my wedding ring has 5 small diamonds across the top (in 18k white gold)...

I love to think about the lass who was given my ring and how her beloved proposed to her....the hopeless romantic that I am!
