Not even fancy gold coloured paper clips like what Kerri got at Wilkos?  :)

I should have just bought paper clips and told him they were hooks.  :P

I tried Asda, B&Q, Aldi, all the shops that sold Christmas stuff in our town centre and various retail parks. I came up with nada and none of the shop assistants knew what I was talking about.

In the end, I bought ribbon from Hobbycraft. Kind of a pain, but they look nice. :)

Thanks again for all the suggestions!

Were they all half-wits?  :o  ???
How could they not understand hooks to hang baubles from the Christmas tree?

>>slap!<<  ;)

They knew what I meant, but were confused about buying them in a pack separate from the ornaments. DH was as well. Maybe Shropshire is weird. :P

I just felt the need to add the one of my very good friends at home calls them hookers.  Which adds a whole different dimension to the conversation when you discuss decorating the tree. :-D

 :D at hookers!

I got some at Selfridges (of all places) last year, but they were pretty sucky, TBH.  They were super thin and bendy and after you removed the first one from the container, you had a messy nest of hangers.  But they worked well enough.  But even there, in the massive Christmas department that opens in September, I had to ask for them and got a bit of a quizzical look.
