NHS question
« on: January 02, 2013, 07:41:24 PM »
So in May 2011  was treated at the NHS multiple times.
Once was A&E and the other was a walk in clinic. When I paid my fee it was paid to University Hospital Bristol. Is this appropriate to put on the form? And since they ask for Address can I just pull the one listed on the internet? I dont have any address on the papers I was given by the NHS or phone numbers.

Do they ask for that on the form now?

Also, I thought you didn't pay for A&E, even as a visitor?

It's on the world bridge app. I'm assuming I paid for the walk In when they checked my eyes to see how much damage I had from the head injury. Is it best just to put the regular number to University Bristol Hospital? I don't know what address and number they want exactly since most hospitals have tons of different numbers.

Sorry, I've got no idea, I didn't realise it was on the application.  It must be new, when I applied for the spousal visa, it didn't ask the question.  Is it a spousal visa you're going for?

Fiance' visa. I'm assuming if I give them the address to the main University Bristol Hospital and a main reception number it would be okay? I'll be including the proof of the fee being paid.
I don't remember the question being on there either when I did the start of the application in April last year.

It's on the world bridge app.

I'm assuming you mean the UKBA visa application (i.e. the VAF4a or the online application), because I have never heard of a Worldbridge application.

Worldbridge have nothing to do with the visa application itself... they are just a commercial partner of UKBA and all they do is offer the priority service on their website, which you can purchase after you have applied online and attended the biometrics appointment.

I don't remember the question being on there either when I did the start of the application in April last year.

There is a new stipulation that you cannot have more than £1,000 in outstanding NHS charges when you apply for a UK visa, or your visa will be refused.... which is probably why it is on the application now, but it wasn't a few months ago - they need to make sure you haven't used the NHS as a visitor without paying for it.

Remember that the application form and the fiance visa requirements have changed since you first started the application last April, so there may be several things on the form that are different from last April... for example, all the accommodation and financial details must now be entered in Appendix 2 instead of the online application.
