Veterans In London Area
« on: January 27, 2013, 01:17:33 PM »
I will be returning to London in the near future. I was wondering if there is a military veteran's community or organizations that bring veteran's together to network or share  information about services abroad.

Welcome! Thank you for your service! What branch were you- just out of curiosity! You may find some Vet or Military groups through the Embassy in London...

It was a pleasure to serve and thank you for saying so.  I was in the USAF, 8 years of which were based in the United Kingdom.

In your post you mentioned that it's possible to connect with other veteran's through the US Embassy.  Are you able to point me in the right direction towards making that connection?  I suppose I'm wondering if they have a similar online community such as this one or whether it's more of a face to face to community.

Would be exceedingly grateful if you could perhaps put me on the right track.

Thanks and Kindest Regards
Tracey

Hey Tracey!

Check out this site... I haven't had a good look through it, but I know it lists American groups in the UK... Hope it helps some!
