Sainsbury's in Derry hasn't had them in ages. I've checked but going again tomorrow.

As for Tesco, go over the Craigavon bridge lower deck and then take the first roundabout. Take the turnoff closest to the Foyle River NOT the foyleside centre. Head straight to the next roundabout and then take the middle lane to the city. Pass the strand bar to your left and Quayside in just a sec up to your right. Tesco is in there. I checked today and they still have the good pickles ;)

Well we bought some of these. They're ok ... but the flavour isn't great. There's no dill or garlic in them, although you could add it yourself if you wanted to.

Have you tried Sainsburys? I think I remember seeing that brand there a few years ago (as you know I don't get to that side of town often!), it might have been the sugared ones tho. I don't think I bought them then because by that point I was burnt out being burned by bad pickles.

Yes, I remember the pickle trials we went on.  * Off topic* I told you I would start posting here. I finally got around to it. I haven't tried Sainburys. I will check during lunch and let you know. You want a jar if they have them.

Thanks for the directions to Quayside, that is how I drive into Derry. I drive right by it. It is next the Strand Theatre. Yes?

Went to Sainsbury's in Derry and they have both the red and the green label. I'm well stocked so I didn't buy them but there was a new brand they had. Bought that and it was too sweet. The jar is inside so can't remember the name  :P but not as nice as the others above

Try a pickle called Beit Hashita gherkins in brine they can be found at asda, tesco, sainsburys where the other pickles are they are in a tin not a jar. They are better than mrs elswood haimisha. So yummy!!!! Mind you my local asda and tesco don't but they are small but a friend of mine who lives 4 miles away has in hers but you can buy offline just google the name. I hate sweet pickles yuck!
