Another American in Chorlton.

Funny, there are a few of us here, but I've not heard another American out on the streets in Chorlton!

I probably do ;) Ever since I bought a car, I really don't go into Chorlton nearly as often for shopping, etc. because of parking.

Ha! Yes, Racheee can lead us all! I "hear" a lot of American accents (but they are mostly students).  We're about!

I just spent a weekend in Manchester, and can vouch that Americans are *everywhere* over there!

True, if you're anywhere near the universities, you'll hear loads of American accents!

I'm here! I live on the edge of Salford and Manchester, in the converted old Salford Royal Hospital.

Have to say though, I've never met another American here in nearly 10 months, other than a really obnoxious drunk tourist in Piccadilly. I'm sure there are loads of us here, just lurking in the shadows somewhere. :)
"Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money, money and power mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil; and I want you to remember this, that love... true love never dies. You remember that, boy. You remember that. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in. " - Secondhand Lions
