Mailing in documents ahead for report of birth/passport/ssn

Is it just the applications that need to be sent in ahead of time, or do all of the supporting documents need o go as well? My passport, our marriage certificate, baby birth certificates, etc??

I think they would like copies of all the supporting stuff as well. This way they can check everything and it will make your appointment go quicker.  We've had very good responses via email if you have questions and actually emailed them our stuff because we weren't sure if it'd get there in time by mail and they were fine with that.
