I've just found out that I'll have an issue with my job in a few weeks when my FLR expires, in the time between then and however long it will take for my ILR to be approved, and I was hoping that maybe someone might have a suggestion? I know that we're still allowed to work during that time, but the company I work for needs some sort of proof that I'm still allowed to work, they told me, or else it's looking like they won't be able to keep me on after the date that my current visa expires. I'm planning to post my ILR application by the end of next week (my FLR expires on 21st June) and I know that doing an in-person appointment instead would solve that problem, but as it is, the fee for sending the application by post is putting a huge strain on our finances, without adding another £400 on top of that to do it in-person. But I need something from the Home Office showing that I'm still allowed to work. Has anyone else had a similar situation, and found something to give to your employer as proof that you can still work? I'm just getting really worried that due to a bit of paperwork that I don't know I can provide, I might not have a job in a few more weeks
