Hi all. I've been looking for work since the last week of February, when I got my spouse visa. I just thought I'd share that I've got two job prospects...neither are really ideal (in an ideal world, I'd go to University instead, but we need money), but it'll be good to have any job, really.
The first would be a part time job at the Disney Store. I'd prefer this one, since I love Disney (actually dropped out of college in the US while studying film making and animation). The other one is with the company that employs my brother in law. It's a chain of shops, and it seems like a really dull job, but they'd give me full time work.
If I could have my choice, I'd take the Disney Store even though I'd be making less money. I figure, I'd rather make little money doing something I enjoy, than make a good amount doing something I am bored by. I've never been the type who copes well with boredom. My brother in law says the job and company he works for is really, really boring. And, they don't pay that well anyway. So I'm really thinking I'll take the job that pays less but is more likely to give me enjoyment.
