So glad to have found this site.  I just submitted paperwork for Settlement Visa and feel a little stressed. I'm a New Yorker in Colorado waiting to make the BIG move abroad with much anticipation.  Looking forward to reading more about everyone on the boards and your experiences both with the UKBA and actually living in the UK.

My hubby is British and I have a green card as I am originally from Cuba.  Haven't come across too many examples of a settlement visa being granted to someone who is technically stateless.  Hope it all goes smoothly.  Staying positive.
