RTW travel on ILR

Hi everyone,

My wife is due for ILR during the summer of 2014.

We are also saving to do some round the world travel when we have enough saved up which is likely to be towards the end of 2014. How long is acceptable to be out of the country whilst travelling during the time my wife is on ILR.

I don't think there's any time limits on being out of the country once she has ILR but if you're outside of the UK for two years, her ILR will be invalid.

There are time limits if she wants to apply for citizenship (no more than 270 days in the last three years and no more than 90 day of those in the last year).
