Florida to Dorset?

Hello All

Just a quick intro. My wife and I are considering a move to Poole / Bournemouth area in Spring 2014 to be closer to family. We are a little worried about work opportunities but are hoping for the best.

Hi Laurence,

That's a lovely part of the country, but job opportunities perhaps not terribly thick on the ground.  What sort of work do you and your wife do?

Hi, thanks for your response.

My wife is an educator for skin care product company and I work in marketing.

I know that area is more for retirees. Might have to try working for ourselves somehow.
