They are classed as "panel shows". But enjoy those as well....not fussed about League of their Own but love QI and also the topical ones like Have I Got News For You

On the other side of the coin, I wonder how US quiz shows, like Jeopardy would fair over here!! The Brits probably wouldnt understand the concept of giving the answer as a question!!! ::) ::)

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire has the same prize amount of a £1,000,000 and $1,000,000 in keeping with the shows name(it has to legally), but, by comparison, the prizes on UK quiz shows are pathetic compared to American quiz shows!! The same goes for our lottery winnings!! Theres no way in Hell that lottery winnings here in the UK would ever amount to the high totals of American lotteries, like, for example, $568,000,000!!

By the way, London had its own version of Cash Cab!! ;D ;D
