Colorado to Colchester

Hello,

I'm a UKC, recently returned to the UK after 22 years living in the US.  I became a USC earlier this year so am a dual citizen.  I've been looking around this forum and recognise some names from the British Expats forum.  22 years is a long time to be away and I feel like I should have a sticker on my forehead that says "I'm new here" as I have to ask people to explain what must seem like simple things to me.

22 years, that is a long time! I am sure it must be strange, everything seems the same, but yet is not the same at all  :( :P
