South Dakota to St. Neots

My name is Chelle - I've been floating around here for about a year while my fiance and I have been working toward me moving to the UK. It's been a great source of information/answers for the (sometimes stupid) questions that I've had. So thank you for your patience. I've finally gotten my house sold and things settled, but we are finally to the point of visa application. Hopefully things will go smoothly from here on out and I will not have to spend another winter in South Dakota!

My name is Amanda, and am also from South Dakota! What part are you from? My family is in North Sioux City and I go back to visit a few times a year. I also went to university at Black Hills State in Spearfish before moving to Arizona for my master's degree. I must say I do miss the wide open spaces of the country at times, but living abroad has been such an adventure. I have been here for almost a year now and it has been a big adjustment! Driving was most the difficult for me, not so much mastering the stick shift  but getting used to the narrow roads and being on the other side. Hope your move goes well for you

Hi Amanda!

Sorry it took me so long to see this! I am from Aberdeen. The only time I lived anywhere else was when I went to SDSU for a bit and then Sioux Falls for a bit and then back to Aberdeen to finish college. I love the Black Hills - went to Deadwood last year for Halloween and had forgotten how beautiful it is there.

I loved England from the moment I was there for my first visit in 2010. It's nothing like South Dakota that's for sure! Thanks for the well wishes!
