Hair dresser/Barber anyone?

I'm a licensed stylist here in the states however i was trained in a barber shop. Anyway, i was wondering if anyone here is a stylist/barber and if so how does the licensing work in the UK? I have had my license over 10 years and was also a manager at the shop i worked at for 3 years. Hopefully I'm not alone!
