London Dungeon: 10 year old?

My 10 year old is dead set on going to the London Dungeon next week. I went as a 30-something year old and had nightmares for weeks!!!

Have any of you taken kids, and if so, how did they react to it?

In my previous relationship, took my partners 10 year old to York Dungeon, he loved it, yes it was scary but he knew it wasn't real.

I went with my ex-bf but I didn't think it was the least bit scary (and I'm a huge wuss).  I guess it depends on how hearty your 10 year old is, and how easily scared. 

I was in London last year with a friend and her 9-year-old. That particular 9-year-old is very squeamish so we wouldn't even have attempted it. But then she refused to go on the London Eye as well. When I was 9, I would have relished both! All children are different and I'm sure you know your own best! 

Thanks very much for your input! My husband and son have both convinced me that it's a good idea. So, I shall send them off to London and hope for the best.

[Oh, and they're also going on a ghost walk ... and then they're going to see a BOOK made out of a some dead man's SKIN. WTF?! ]

Quick update in case anyone has the same question: my 10 year old LOVED it. And my husband thought it was hilarious.

A good time was had by all and there were no nightmares. So, I suppose I'd highly recommend it!
