Thanksgivukkah!!!
« on: October 22, 2013, 08:23:03 PM »
So as my fellow Red Sea Pedestrians will know, this year marks the first time Thanksgiving and Hanukkah fall on the same day.  It's also coincidentally, most likely, the last time it will ever happen--due to the quirks of the Hebrew calendar it won't mathematically happen again for around 70,000 years (which I'm sure by then neither America nor organised religion will be around).

So-- what's on your amalgamated menu?  Sweet Potato Latke?  Cornucopias overflowing with dreidels?  My dessert will be Pumpkin Pie Donuts.

Honey mustard glazed salmon. Potato cakes. Salmon and potatoes are so good together.
I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC
