Going to London for a few days

Fancy going to Chinatown for a meal, I realise that they'll all be decent otherwise they wouldn't survive in that area but does anyone have a recommendaion for a ~Chinese restaurant there? Particularly for dumplings and crispy duck.

I think you should go to Wong Kei... the place that's famous for their grumpy waiters! 
I can't remember what the food was like, though...

Grumpy waiters, yes.  Food- made me sick.

I had that recommended on my facebook as well - they said the food was excellent

Ba Shan gets my recommendation. I went there for Chinese new year and it was the best Chinese food I've ever had. The dong po rou is to die for. I remember a lot of Mao Zedong decorations, which I enjoyed because I was studying Chinese history at the time. Definitely not a 'get a quick bite' sort of place, better for a proper meal
