I do use UK recipes, but I am talking about my grandmothers recipes that i need the pie pan for.  We did go into town yesterday and I managed to find a pie pan that was perfect for what i need.....deep and wide enough, at Marks and Spencers.  It was a bit pricey at £12.50, but we had some gift cards that needed to be used so it worked out well!!

Glad you found your pie pan!

I missed Velveeta mac and cheese so badly when I first moved over here.  When my parents came to visit last year, they brought me over two boxes.  I hadn't eaten it for like 2-3 years, I was so excited and then I had it and was like ew, this is really bland.  Haha, so that solved my problem!  But yeah, was never a fan of Kraft, at least the Velveeta squeezy cheese seemed more cheese like than the powder.

I have never found a good proper American pie plate here (i.e. deep enough, wide enough). They're all too small.    I've used tart pans to make open face pies though and that works well.

I gave up and bought a nice US pie plate iduring a visit once.

That said, Lakeland may have something you're looking for?

I looked specifically for a deep dish pie tin and found on on Amazon. Nice ceramic one - I think it was only ten pounds. So glad, as my other pie plates weren't deep enough for my massive American pie recipes.
