We are moving next week to South Kensington for my wife's banking job. She's coming to....you guessed it....clean up a European mess in her division!
We are also coming in large part so that our family (9 year old boy and 7.5 year old girl) can experience much of Europe.
Like I said in the title, they are "educated outside the system" so we have considerable lifestyle flexibility. We plan on taking advantage of London as an affordable launch pad...
I'm a "retired" trader who now teaches accelerated math and dabbles in online businesses. Oh yeah, and I'm a serious golfer who's eager to play in the UK!
Anyways, that's my intro. We are a very active and fun family and look forward to meeting other ex-pats (and the occasional Brit!).
(Wife is native NY'er. I'm originally from Mass but have lived for many years in Philly and NYC-area - also a stop in Charlotte. We are libertarians and Catholic.)
