Austin to UK

Hello my name is Laurie I just moved here with my husband from Austin, Texas. We are living in Northwood. We have been here for about 3 weeks, and I am learning my way around slowly!  :)

I am sure I will have lots of questions in the future, so thank you in advance for all the answers!

Hello, fellow Austinite! Welcome! I moved to Salisbury from Austin to be with my husband in November. We're not exactly next door neighbors, but we might have to get together sometime for coffee so we can reminisce about breakfast tacos and BBQ.  ;D

Stumbled onto this forum and am so excited to have so much useful information to help with the move and meet others like me.

Just had to also say - I'm so glad to hear there are other Austinites in the UK! I am moving to London in April for work, so just wanted to say hello.

I am currently living in NYC, so will be making one last domestic trip home next week to see my family and friends and essentially make a round of farewells ( :().

Keep Austin Weird (and Hook 'em too!) -B
