Moving to London from LA in the 12 months (I hope).

Hi. My name is Allison. I'm mid-30s from the Philadelphia area, currently living in Los Angeles. I've been here for nearly 5 years, but I'm moving back east at the end of this summer to get married to a Brit in the Fall.

After that, my life is spouse visa application time & prepare for cross-pond move. My fiancé and I have been together (long distance) for 2+years & I'm really excited & nervous about moving 6,000 miles, into a new city and country.

I'm going to read most of the forum before I post anything else... questions, information, etc.

Wow! That is super exciting. I too am hoping to move in the next 6 months from California but I do not know anyone across the pond. Please keep me posted on how this all goes for you!
