New Hampshire to Scotland (I hope)

Hi all! I am going to be combing these forums and the site a lot! I am in the very beginning stages of planning to move from US to Scotland to marry my wee bestie (he's actually quite tall, though). So confused about everything, I hope to figure out as much as possible before even touching any applications. Thanks in advance for any help I receive.
