Glad you found us.
Going through a bout of homesickness is perfectly normal even us long timers (been here over 14 years now) still have them.
This place is a great place to have a wee moan, natter and just observe. :)
So just jump in and get your feet wet so to speak.

What part of the UK are you in? I'm in the Fife region of Scotland. :)

Again Welcome to UK Yankee from an original Yankee. (born n bred in Mass. lived there till i came here in 1999  :)  )

Kay

Welcome and hope this forum helps with the home sickness. I'm still going through it a lot right now and I've been in Dundee for over 3 years. It takes its toll when there isn't really anybody I can turn to so hopefully you have someone in the UK you can talk to.
Again welcome and enjoy!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one.  I've been here for six years this month and have been having a stronger than normal bout of homesickness as well.  Usually, I blame it on the weather, but I've had no excuse this summer!  What brought you to the UK?  Where are you living?

Sorry about the delay in replying. I never got a notification that someone had replied to my post :-P.  I have been here for almost 4 years now and I moved her to be with my husband. How about you?
