Buffalo to Oxford!

Hello all, 

My name is Ben, I am a 28 year old recent PhD graduate.  It looks like I will be moving to Oxford for a postdoc in August.  I am very excited about crossing the pond and learning how to live there!  For now I have lot of work to do getting my visa in order but I look forward to learning a lot from these forums.

Hey there! My husband and I live near Oxford. I'm originally from Long Island and then lived in NJ for a few years before moving over here to be with my husband. I'm happy to meet up once you come and show you around or can help with the visa stuff where possible. I was on a student visa, post-study work (which no longer exists), spouse visa, ILR and finally became a citizen in January. I'm happy to help so hit us up or let me know if you have any questions.
