US Passport Validity

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone might be able to answer my question.

I'm traveling to the US for Thanksgiving. My current passport expires in February 2015. Will I have any problems entering the US or returning back to the UK (I have ILR) on it or will I need to renew my American passport before the trip?

Hi PlainPearl -- The US maintains that your passport is valid until its expiration date, so you won't have any problems entering the US.

But your airline may not let you travel with less than 6 months validity, so I think it's best to check with your carrier.
