what is the best way to ship some of my things over to the UK?

Hello,

I am moving from Delaware USA to Bristol England in September and am trying to figure out what is the best way to ship some of my things over. I am not bringing much but have maybe 6 boxes. I looked into taking extra luggage on my flight, but that is really expensive. Any suggestions of shipping methods? I do not need my things quickly.

Oh goodness that's not much...we did a 40' container from DC for $3,000 live-load arriving at our house and being dropped at the port of Baltimore.

Maybe get a quote from Upakweship. I used them to move a year ago and they were great.

I ended up going with extra luggage since I am not taking so much. Icelandic air gives you two free checked bags which is a bonus. I looked in to Ushipwepack and if I would have been taking more, I would have gone with them. very friendly and responded quickly to questions and you can do mini pods, large pods or just boxes. But, I am only taking 4 bags...so airplane was more lbs for my money.
