Sounds like you might need to clean out the filter. Not the lint trap, but there will be another bit that it recommends being cleaned out about once a month (depending on use). You have to rinse water through it - a job I hate as then I get a bathtub clogged with lint!

Yeah, DH does clean out this other thing down underneath from time to time -- although I don't think he's ever rinsed it.  So maybe that would make a difference.  Nuisance though.

I had no idea the washer-dryers existed until I visited my husband, fiance at the time. I mentioned it to my mom and she told me that her grandmother had one back in the 70's! haha. Ours will get your clothes bone dry, the only problem is it takes 3 hours and then your clothes are creased beyond belief. So I use the "ironing" setting on the dryer and my clothes come out a tiny bit damp but I can shake out the wrinkles and they dry just fine by the next day.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

The dryer I had back 7 years or so ago dried fine. About twice as long as an American style....but definitely dried things. No idea what brand it was.
