British by born, Murcian by marriage...
« on: September 17, 2014, 03:03:48 PM »
Hello rebels,

I am the Randy Redcoat. I am being instructed to join this website and introduce myself by my Yankee wife, JaidedWings. We are currently waiting for a visa so she can come and live here because I am not allowed to move to the former colonies under orders from JW.

Aboot me. I am an EMT in Essex and I enjoy long walks on a short pier and driving around town during the nights hours with my siren on. My favoUrite coloUr is Green.

I am here to correct spelling, argue about how you cheated in the American Rebellion (did you really have to get the French involved?) and to be a good supportive husband.

Also, thank you everyone who has helped JaidedWings so fair, she has mentioned often how helpful everyone has been.

Champion.

Welcome (again) RandyRedcoat!

It's always nice to have some humor (note only one "U" in humor!) during these stressful times....

.... Cheated during the Revolutionary War?!? *scoff*   ::)

We all know it was the substandard tea sent our way that forced those poor colonists to take such a brave and daring stand...

.... and now it looks like quite a few of us are trying to get back in - go figure!  ;)
Here 2 years as of Oct. 1, 2016.

Don't get me started on the Great Rebellion, JaidedWings has learn't to steer clear of that subject as well as anything to do with HM, Gawd Bless'ah.

As for the humoUr, I am willing to teach those who are venturing back to Old England the art of Scarasm, for a small levy.

Welcome!  Glad to see that you got your account figured out.  My visa timeline is very similar to your wife's and I am also headed to Essex.

Feel free to correct my Websterian spelling while I will do my best to remind you to speak rhotically.  The Revolutionary War is one of my favorite subjects so well up for those debates (might as well put these degrees to use).  My family was all about the Revolution so I feel a personal affinity to those uppity colonials (we won't mention the Long Island branch whose coats were not as blue as they should have been- about gave my father a heart attack when he saw the one in the Oyster Bay Historical Society  :o ).

As long as you understand you cheated and you feel sorry for what you did, I am happy.

Can't say I am sorry at all!  I would be a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution if I wasn't so appalled by their exclusion of my sister who happens to have entered my family through adoption rather than by birth.  Besides, from which country do you think we learned to cheat so well?
