hi i'm a texan girl living in the uk
i found this site when looking for a
good cool whip type thing in the uk as id love to make some of my
american recipes in the holidays
i first came here in 2010 for a 6 month visit and i didn't want to leave.
my then girlfriend and i decided we wanted to get married and started
the very hard nightmare of getting me a visa to be able to come get
married and live here. those were the hardest months of my life being
so far away from her and being scared the government might decide
to say no. luckily i got my visa and she came to get me in 2011 and
we got married on may 21, 2011, the happiest day of my life
i got
my leave to remain last year so itll be 4 years of living full time in the
uk this coming year. it feels like my home now but i do miss texas
and i didnt think i would
i do not miss the heat though
i do miss the
easiness of just going to walmart and finding what i want or need i miss
some of the food i miss my family but my uk family is great
anyways just saying hello
