Greetings, I have been on this forum for a while now but never officially introduced myself - long overdue....
I'm Jennifer (USC) originally from an hour outside Philadelphia, currently living in the suburbs of New York City for the last 10 years. Met my husband (UKC & USC) at work about 13 years ago (whoa just realized how fast time goes by) in the UK - I had just finished my masters and was offered a work visa.
Anyway, we (plus 2 DD) are officially back in the UK after all this time in 3 weeks! We'll be in small village in Hampshire between Winchester and Basingstoke.
I'm asked several times daily by folks at work if I'm excited - and although I am excited for making new memories and spending time with friends and his family, I am really getting nervous now. I haven't lived there in many years and I remember it taking a bit to feel like it was home back then. And with kids I have to be strong for them from day one. Anyway, like many others, I will miss my mother, sisters and their kids so much - I just have to remember to take it one day at a time and make the most of it! Thank you to all on here who share their experiences so we all don't feel alone!
