I am moving over to the Scotland (Nov this year, spousal visa) I am a jewelry artist and would like to continue to make and sell my work. (not full time, I've always had to have a "real" job) At this point I'm not really ready for the financial/business advice so I didn't the SOHO forum was the right spot for this. I'm trying to find out the "temperature" of taste in the UK. I do statement type pieces and I work predominately in copper. I was there visiting in 2013 and did a lot of looking about in small shops, most everything I saw was silver or gold and very delicate. I am concerned my style won't be well received. My normal selling spots are art shows, I do have a few wholesale accounts but mostly did shows. I don't know if such things exist in Scotland and England. Anybody have any info on this?
