Okay So I was Denied entry to the uk in November of 2013 because they didnt believe that i was just coming to visit my fiancee because i had already had a 4 month stay and then tried to re-enter after 2 months.
Now our situation is very different We are now married and live in the USA he has a green card and i can provide tons of information regarding my ties to the USA. So my question is do i need a Uk visitors visa to go back to England to Visit my husbands family? Since i was denied entry i have a new last name and a new passport. Thank you In advance.

It is recommended to apply for a visitor visa in advance of travel to the UK if you have any adverse UK immigration history.

It's not a set-in-stone rule that you must, and you can take your chances without one, but it is usually a good idea as you'll have peace of mind that you won't run into problems at the border if you show up without prior entry clearance, and will ensure that you don't lose the cost of your flight ticket(s) should you be bounced again.
