Yes that's true but it's closer to the Borders so I just said that to simplify.

Lovely place to get out walking in the Galloway forest and surrounding hills. Lots of nice wee lochs and camping spots. The forest also has some of the darkest skies in the country, so it's great for star gazing.

Oh thank you for this! I needed something good to think about and those are all things I am so looking forward to in this move! We have a contract on our house and the inspection is tomorrow. I'm on pins and needles. I needed something good to focus on! :)
