Previous Passports

Hi, Another question...
The visa application (Spouse) asks for travel history from the past 10 years and PREVIOUS passports to verify travel history (in addition to current passports).
If a previous passport has been lost, will this have an effect on whether the application is accepted or denied?
I have the number and related information for my old passport, which I have put on my application. I'm just wondering how necessary it is to send in physical old passports with the application.

Just wondering if you ever found an answer to this? My wife is in the same boat having lost her previous two passports! She's no longer allowed to look after them :-)

If the passports are lost, you just give any details you do have of them and explain why you cannot include them with the application.

It shouldn't affect the application decision at all.
