European break over Half term

Hubs and I are trying to decide where to go for a week in October we r thinking we might do a short flight to Switzerland or Italy and stay in a hotel with a pool with our daughter. Anyone else going away for half term

Not sure if it's the same week as UK half-term, but my brother is moving to Switzerland on Wednesday and I'm going out to visit him for a few days in mid-October (turns out one of my best friends lives 10-min walk from the school my brother will be working in, so I'm visiting both of them) :).

We went to Zurich for a long weekend in October a couple of years ago and looooved it.  We will definitely go back for a longer holiday at some point.

Fun fact, the (now former) Archbishop of Canterbury was on our (Easyjet) flight back.  He's the dude that married Will and Kate.  I figure that's as close to royalty I'll ever get.   ;)
