Shipping Household
« on: January 14, 2016, 04:06:36 PM »
I have been researching the best way to ship HHGoods to NI,  talked to and got lots of quotes from several companies,  all 10 grand or more,  then I called and talked to MSC,  Med Shipping Company,  with me doing the work when 20 foot container arriving in my driveway and transported to Kells, NI the cost will not exceed 5 grand US,   just thought I would share.

We are going through UPakWeShip and our crate is sitting in our kitchen mock-built right now...it leaves on Monday and I'm still panicking about what we can fit in there. We are only moving household goods, no furniture, just blankets, military stuff, toys, movies, kitchenware and such....100 cubic ft. from NC to Oxfordshire, $1500
I am a North Carolina girl born and raised, yes I love sweet iced tea, Texas Pete and biscuits and gravy....but England is where my soul feels at peace and I can't wait to get there.

I'm telling you, once you get here you'll wish you left out the blankets and filled the space with Captain Crunch

Seriously though, you can get grits here so don't bring that.  They've also got blankets, movies and even Netflix so if you end up leaving that stuff behind you'll be fine
