CBS pulls Dukes of Hazzard

I'm not one of those Southerners who carries fond feelings for the Confederate battle flag....but I did sort of like the Dukes of Hazzard when I was 8 or so.....

Ha. Well I was amazed by the re-run opportunities last time I was over there. For one thing, I discovered that the Golden Girls (in moderation) is a funny show. I watched maybe six episodes back-to-back. You couldn't have forced me at gunpoint to watch the Golden Girls back when it was originally aired.

TVland used to run nothing but reruns -- like "Leave it to Beaver" (!) -- but then they started doing new shows using old actors from the oldie shows, like that "Hot in Cleveland" with Betty White.  I always thought it would be more interesting if they ran a bunch of shows from the same period with the actual commercials.

I agree with this idea as well.
