Greetings. Our daughter has met her true love in Nottingham and will be married shortly. Their hope is to make their home in Nottingham or thereabouts, and the rest of our family (myself, my wife, a son, and a daughter) - for the short-term at least - will be visiting them, with the intent of spending several months in that area. We currently live in Utah, but our family is a blend of Nevada, Idaho, and New York natives.
Much of what I hope to learn from these forums is how to acclimate to the UK surroundings, as well as learn how to navigate the visa and settling process. I look forward to further sifting through the myriad discussions and making new friends and acquaintances along the way.
