Hello from Oregon!

Hello all! I just discovered this forum and I know I will need all the help I can get. I am engaged to a wonderful Scottish girl and hope to apply for a fiancé visa in the next few months so that we can be married and live in Inverness. ANY advice or help as we go through this scary process would sure be appreciated. 

We moved back to the UK this last Spring (from WA), although I have lived in the UK for quite a while over the years.
*The first thing I would do is read through the process online from the UK Gov site. That should be confusing enough.....but hopefully some of it will make sense and you can ask more detailed questions at that point.
*The second.....there are several very knowledgable people here....take their advice.....they have walked a lot of people through the process. I have almost two years before I need to apply for visa #2 (of 3), but I will read up again at that time and likely back on here asking clarifying questions at that time.
*I'd also recommend looking at some old threads of people applying.....quite a few of your questions can be answered this way. Depending on category of applying.....a lot of the items you need to tick off are the same.
