Tampa, FL > NYC > Stamford, CT > Manchester
« on: January 04, 2016, 11:00:28 AM »
Greetings,
Ive taken way too long to find this forum.  Originally from Fl, I spent the last 9 years in the NorthEast and recently moved to Manchester.  I thought if I could handle the snow I could handle the rain.  Fortunately, my tolerance to rain is slightly higher than my tolerance for snow.  I do miss America even though our intentions are to eventually return (further South when we do).  We (myself, hubby and almost 4 y/o) are enjoying discovering new places and learning how different things really are!

Ok, I'm actually from Pinellas Park, but only you would know where that is.  Hi fellow Floridian!

I don't mind the rain usually.....this has been a pretty damn wet 2+ months around here in the north. I grew up in SW Washington in the rain...this is my 15th year total in the UK....if the rain this year doesn't kill you...nothing can.

I had a great Cuban sandwich in Largo once....
I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC
